About Me.
I was born and raised in Japan and have studied in New Zealand and the United States through university programs.
Experiencing life in different places and making many international friends has fostered a deep empathy for others. Seeing the world through other people's eyes, feeling what they feel, and experiencing things as they do has developed a cultural sensitivity that is so critical for effective UX/UI design.
Since childhood, I have always had a curious nature. I love trying new things. Early on, I fell in love with expression through art. When something new captures my attention, I am determined to try it. That's my motto. I discovered UX/UI design when researching how to build my website. The more I researched, the more interested I became in UX/UI design. I aspired to become a designer and enrolled in Thinkful’s UX/UI design program. Using my cross-functional work experience and training from the course, I engaged in design projects that provide simple answers to complex user problems.
